OVERVIEW

IFL Foundation has initiated Livestock Development Program - Cattle Animal Husbandry center to provide services / inputs at the doorstep of the cattle owners to encourage and maintain livestock rearing as a secondary source of income.

The main objective of livestock development activities is to upgrade the local indigenous low milk-yielding cows and buffaloes by breeding them through Animal Husbandry with the use of high pedigree frozen semen of indigenous/ exotic breeds. The resulting upgraded progeny with an improved genetic make-up will have a far better milk yielding capacity.
