Overview

Non-Governmental Organizations in India plays a significant role in community development. However, despite their good work, many of them lack capacity in terms of donor management, funding, M&E and many more.

Therefore, the IIFL Foundation in collaboration with the Renovate India launched this project which aims to build NGOs’ capacity and make them sustainable to be able to raise funds and function efficiently and effectively in future. In order to build capacity, training sessions, handholding, expert consultation and execution is essential. But for out of 15K + NGOs of Maharashtra, most NGOs lack in meeting basic compliances due to absence of proper mentoring. Due to geographical and lingual barriers, these needy grassroot NGOs are devoid of knowledge and compliant documentations.

GlocalBodh – Basic Course in NGO Management is India’s first ever hybrid course in regional language, designed for these Grassroot NGOs/CBOs for remotely building their capacity and accomplish necessary documentations. Through GlocalBodh, the project team deliver 8 essential pre-recorded video modules along with assignments for NGOs to watch and learn. Key components of the project are:

  • 2 batches of 25 NGOs
  • 60 hrs of video content
  • 500 hrs of Handholding sessions
  • 64 hrs of Mentoring sessions from Industry Experts
  • 8 Assignments
  • 80 videos
  • MCQs for every video
  • App Content supports 3 languages
