OVERVIEW

With this initiative IIFL Foundation intended to provide decentralized energy system to 25 Primary Schools (Govt.) of Palghar District (From Vikramgad, Jawahar, Mokhada & Wada), to not only fulfil their need for electricity, but also helping to reduce the CO2 emission.

HIGHLIGHT

Outcome:

  • Facilitation of electricity from environment friendly source
  • Availability of water to school/community through solar powered water pump

  • Reduction in Carbon Footprint
  • Access to Digital Platforms for AV learning (Youtube, Web)

2 kW PV Off-Grid System (Back up 8 to 10 hours)

  • 1 Ceiling Fan
  • 3 LED Lights
  • 2 Electric Sockets to charge Laptop - 1 LED TV
  • 1 HP Solar Water Pump with motor and charge controller
