Overview
In a significant step towards strengthening emergency healthcare services, the IIFL Foundation donated a fully equipped ambulance to the Sub District Hospital in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. This initiative, aimed at improving patient transport and emergency response, is especially impactful in a region where challenging terrain and limited connectivity often hinder timely medical access.
The ambulance is equipped with essential life-support and monitoring systems, enabling safe and efficient transfer of patients to and from the hospital. This contribution reflects the IIFL Foundation’s ongoing commitment to bridging critical healthcare gaps in underserved and remote communities, ensuring that timely medical care becomes more accessible to the people of Kupwara and surrounding areas.

IIFL foundation has donated Ambulance to the Sub District Hospital Sogam Lolab which provides health facilities to three sub valleys and numerous remote villages of district Kupwara like Diver, Anderbough, Tekipora Wanidorusa which lack such facilities. It ensures timely medical assistance and emergency transportation, significantly reducing health risks. Villagers now have quicker access to hospitals, especially in critical situations, improving overall healthcare delivery in the region.
